2017 Topps Bunt: Highlights from Packs 13 - 18

After this post, I will have managed to get through half of the 2017 Topps Bunt box in a single day, that's efficiency!

Packs 13 - 18:

As usual, let's look at the six blue parallels first:

Through the halfway mark, the Dodgers lead the blue parallel race with three.  The Diamondbacks and Angels each have two, no other team has more than one so far.

We also pulled one more code card (for a total of 5 code cards so far).

In more interesting news, we pulled our first two non-blue parallels of the box.  First up, this black and white parallel of Marcus Stroman of the Blue Jays (congrats Jordan)!

The black and white parallels are seeded 1:36 packs making this the box hit!

We also pulled a serially numbered green parallel of Adam Duvall of my Reds.

The green parallels are actually more common than the black and white parallels (greens are seeded 1:32 packs).  That's kind of weird to me since the greens are serially numbered and the black and white parallels are not, but hey, that's Topps for ya.

As with the other packs so far, we pulled a smattering of other inserts including two more Programs cards.

The Correa is my favorite out of the two.  We have now found six different Programs inserts (all for different teams which is nice from a group break host's perspective).

Next, another pair of Infinite cards.

The Gossage is particularly nice if you ask me.  I think this set works better with the retired players, though I cannot tell if the pictured stadium is the old Yankee stadium or the new one?

And finally, we end with two more Perspectives cards:

I like the Gary Carter card quite a bit, the somewhat grainy photo actually works alright with the card design.  The Cubs now have two of the five Perspectives cards from the box (the other being a Jon Lester card that we pulled earlier today).

That does it for this half of the box!  I hope everyone is liking the box so far - lots of cards for everyone...and another whole half to go!
